Westfield Indoor Tennis Club

One of the worst experiences I’ve had at an indoor tennis center. To start with, the facility temperature wasn’t maintained properly, especially on a cold day, which made it uncomfortable to play. Separately, the staff behavior was unacceptable. It wasn’t even about the temperature - I don’t know if it was the owner or staff who interrupted while playing and starting asking random questions. And then front desk desk staff had a discussion about the same matter and started arguing, showed attitude, and were outright rude. For a place that’s priced higher than other nearby options, I expected basic professionalism and a better overall experience.

Of all the places I’ve played at - this has been the most disappointing place and experience. Where to begin? 1) The place still does not accept card payments. 2) The bathrooms look semi questionable in appearance and neatness. 3) the owner spent more micromanaging which side to enter the court despite both sides being entrances than focusing on his own court. 4) the owner then interrupted our court because we had someone who came to watch us play our match. Apparently due to “liabilities” he feared a deadly fuzzy yellow non baseball would potentially hurt our poor audience member and put the club at risk. 5) The owner then decided to try to power trip us about threatening on giving a refund and kicking us out if we didn’t like his rules. No other club or owners have ever behaved this way before. Perhaps, he should focus on pickleball.

My two kids and I have really enjoyed being part of this tennis club. Marcy the owner is fantastic and both Lexi Borr and Pete have been great coaches! I would highly recommend the junior program Lexi is running, joining the adult tennis leagues that Marcy is in charge of, or drills and coaching with Pete.

I had two lessons with Pete and it was awesome, terrific guy. I met Marcy and she's very nice as well. Ed strung two of my rackets recently and they came out great. He was very helpful and knowledgeable. I'll be back again for sure! Can't wait for group play to commence, I'm very excited for it to start. Highly recommended.

I am familiar with the facility and have played there in the past. I think the Head Pro, Marcy is a great instructor. She is very knowledgeable about the game and offers great instruction to assist her students in becoming better players. The staff is also friendly and courteous. Highly recommend joining one of the clinics.
